The Fleurieu Folk Festival is an annual 3 day family friendly celebration of contemporary and traditional folk music, held in the picturesque township of Willunga, in South Australia’s premier wine region.
Each year the festival hand picks over 50 of the best local, interstate and international folk musicians covering a broad range of genres including traditional, acoustic, celtic, blues, roots and bluegrass. With workshops, sessions, dancers, blackboard concerts and children’s entertainment, as well as local food, wine and market stalls, there’s something for everyone!
Australia’s National Folk Festival takes place over Easter every year. This year is the 50th Anniversary. Enjoy five days in a perfect world with a huge lineup of folk acts of all descriptions, workshops, music sessions, great food drink and crafts and a place to meet and make friends.
Brillig’s last show for a busy year sees them back at the Grace Emily Hotel with some
very special guests. Opening the night is Preston’s Historic Punch &
Judy Show, complete with its own portable puppet theatre and all your
favourite characters. Brillig have also coaxed LeighStarDust back onto
the stage for a rare appearance and some new music! She will also join
Brillig for a song or two… Keep an ear out for an exciting

John and Gayle allow their characters to narrate stories that conjure up all sorts of images in the listener’s mind while the ductile music plays, allowing the spirit to wander. Vincent’s Chair is an Australian contemporary acoustic group founded by singer-songwriter, Kathie Renner. The songs, by Renner – who cites Sting, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon as her influences – have an eclectic sound that crosses all musical boundaries, and articulate enigmatic story-telling with a focus on honest musicianship. After the release of their latest CD, “The New Vibe” at the renowned Adelaide Festival Centre in 2014 Vincent’s Chair has continued their busy schedule of performing and touring and will be undertaking their sixth tour of Europe in September where their popularity continues to grow.
The Vincent’s Chair line-up consists of Kathie Renner on vocals, keyboards and guitars, Karen De Nardi on viola, Sam Leske on guitars and Holly Thomas on percussion.
