Fleurieu Folk Festival is South Australia’s leading Folk Music event of the year and one of Australia’s most popular Festivals. This year features a ‘strong Celtic flavour’ of Scottish & Irish/Australian Music.

Fleurieu Folk Festival is many different festivals in one, presenting a variety of
Folk Music, Dance, Spoken Word, Culture, Workshops and Kids Activities.
The music genres included are Folk (Folk/Rock, Folk Roots, Acoustic Folk, Indi/Folk, Folk/Pop, Alt/Folk and Contemporary/Folk), Country & Bluegrass, Singer/Songwriters, World Music, Jazz (Gypsy Jazz), and Blues.

COUNTRY MUSIC

Country – Headlining the weekend is Felicity Urquhart & husband Glen Hannah. In a career encompassing six studio albums, two EPs, and countless sold-out headlining shows and capacity festival appearances, Felicity Urquhart has netted seven Golden Guitars, an ARIA Award nomination for Best Country Album, four CMAA Australian CM Achiever Awards, and a Centenary Medal for her “service to Australian society through Country Music”. Others Country performers appearing at Fleurieu Folk Festival are: The Round Mountain Girls (NSW), Crooked Road, Don Morrison.
