With her Berlin Balkan-Jazz trio “Hora Colora” she won an important German music award (FFP, Rudolstadt).
The Balkan-fusion band “BalCannibals” features her playing together with her brother Jan von Klewitz on alto saxophone.
Anti von Klewitz has performed with British and Dutch poets in Amsterdam, New York and Paris.
Her recent album “Helle Fenster, dunkle Wasser” (“Bright windows, dark seas”) was released May 2017. Tours and concerts in many European countries as well as in Pakistan, the US and at various festivals in Australia (WOMAD, Port Fairy, Melbourne Arts, etc.)
Anti’s main band Csókolom plays folk music from Transylvania, adding varied musical ingredients but focussing on the timeless beauty of traditional Hungarian and Romanian folk songs and the powerful melancholy of the gypsy songs from that area, providing translations, lots of humour and spontaneous interaction with the audience. In Australia Csókolom performs as a trio.
