Come and enjoy the traditional flavours of their 4 course folk cuisine buffet whilst tasting their extensive range of rare Baltic beers, vodkas and liqueurs. Inga Perkons-Grauze and The Latvian Lunchroom

Organiser of FEAST & FOLK Baltic Degustation and Beer Bar Event

Inga Perkons-Grauze established herself in 2010 as a small, home based family catering and food producer, cooking foods she grew up with using recipes she inherited from her Latvian mother, Astrida. Now, Inga and her family are the owners of The Latvian Lunchroom Restaurant and Baltic Beer Cafe which operates from one of Adelaide’s top tourist destinations, the Adelaide Central Market.

In late 2016, Inga travelled to Latvia with her daughter, Anita, to shoot footage and collect information about traditional cooking that still exists today. Through their journey, they met many interesting characters that shared their food skills; bread bakers, mushroom foragers, picklers and herbalists, as well as visiting a variety of farmers markets across Latvia.

From this has emerge the  “How To Eat Like A Latvian”  series of popular degustation events and work on a publiction of the same name.
