Live music returns to Payinthi (Prospect Town Hall) and Club5082 is hosting an intimate event to celebrate 2020 NAIDOC Week!
First Nations artist and International touring singer-songwriter Glen Skuthorpe is a powerful lyricist and composer who gives voice to those whose stories must be heard!
Mr Skuthorpe will perform a variety of songs from his six highly regarded albums and will be joined on stage by Austin Fogarty (Drums), Anthony Pak Poy (Bass) and Lainie Jamieson (Keys).
Prepare for a fusion of genres and vibes encapsulating vast landscapes and colourful urban street blues!
Opening the show is young 17 year old singer and songwriter Tilly Tjala Thomas!
Tilly is a sensational young musician that began her music career at Willunga Farmers Market in 2014. Since then, Tilly has been invited to perform at various music and cultural events and has performed at some of South Australia’s premier events including Adelaide Fringe Festival, The Desert Fringe supporting Archie Roach, Survival Day and increasingly popular Stone Pony Folk Session.
Tilly is inspired by her Nukunu Culture and her music is driven by folk, country and indie pop.
Tickets are $15 each and limited due to Covid. The price includes a complimentary glass of Claymore Wine (red, white or bubbles) or can of Cooper’s beer or soft drink from the bar.
