Luke Marshall is a singer songwriter and artist based in Adelaide. Hailing from the Port Lincoln, Luke first started playing guitar and writing music around the age of 14. Luke’s original music can best be described as dreamy alternative folk. His lyrics are reflective, with a mix of raw and honest feelings that paint both a dark and light picture. His live show is intimate and enchanting, expressing feelings of love, loss, dreams and emotional spaces. Luke lists artist City and Colour, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bob Dylan and Ry X as some of his biggest musical inspirations. “Performing live for people is such an elevating experience, being able to tell a story and transcend communication barriers. Music is so much more than just sounds and words, its an energy that is shared by the performer and audience and something that is unique to each show” – Luke. Luke has been performing regularly around Adelaide since August 2014 and has just released his debut EP ‘Forest by the Sea’.
