MR BADGER tells the story of The Wind in the Willows

A storytelling performance of the
classic book “The Wind in the Willows”, suitable for primary school
students, will be presented at the Salisbury Library, Adelaide Botanic
Garden and Carrick Hill. The performance tells the story of this
much-loved book about the adventures of Mr Toad, Ratty, Mole and
Badger – the performance is called MR BADGER tells the story of The
Wind in the Willows. The story celebrates the joys of nature, animals
and friendship and over 200 performances have been presented in venues
across Australia including the National Library Canberra and state
libraries in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Both of the garden venues
provide an idyllic garden setting for this presentation and allow the
opportunity for family and school groups to combine the outing with a
picnic in the gardens.
