Fiona Boyes is a distinctive internationally recognised guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who plays deep Blues in a range of traditional styles. Winner 2017 USA Blues Blast ‘Acoustic Album of the Year’ and 7 time nominee for USA Blues Music Awards,She has carved an international reputation performing at acoustic, guitar, jazz and blues festivals, clubs and cultural centres in 16 different countries Fiona has just recorded a new electric album – ‘Voodoo in the Shadows’ – and will be featuring these new songs and stories in her upcoming shows.

Way out in the South Australian Murray Mallee, away from the bright lights of cities and towns, a duo of bluesmen play music which is deeply influenced by the harsh yet peaceful places where they live. In areas where wombats, goannas and carpet pythons still survive, the Cruise Brothers channel old school blues with the dark and harsh environment of the mallee woodlands. Their songs were written by others more famous, but playing old guitars made from the mallee they have plied their unique brand for the past two decades. At times haunting, their music is filled with soul that will take you to another place; a place you perhaps haven’t been to, but a place that is uniquely rural Australian.
