POKEY LA FARGE BRINGS SWINGIN’ ROCK N ROLL FROM THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK TO THE GOV

Pokey La Farge’s sound is hard to pigeon hole.

Traversing country, blues,  jazz, swing, folk and more, it’s got a swagger that’s undeniable and comes directly from the American heartland. Last in town for Womadelaide in 2014, Pokey La Farge wowed the audience with a style that is energetic and captivating. The one, the only, how could there be another POKEY LA FARGE returns to Australia for solo performances, an environment where his inspired mix of country, blues, swing and folk really have the opportunity to shine.
Joining Pokey on his run of Australian shows is SIERRA FERRELL. A jingle-janglin gypsy tornado of sound that doesn’t seem to care what the rules are, Sierra seamlessly fuses old and new into something distinctly her own.
